1 Peter 1: 18-19 (KJV)

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corrputible things, as silver and gold... But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish, and without spot.

Jamil Temple

Hey everyone!

I hope that everyone has had a good weekend. :)

Well, this sure was an exciting weekend for BBT! We left Friday evening to go to Columbia, SC, for the Southern Gathering Gospel Concert, hosted by The Shireys (formerly Unity). On Saturday morning, we got up and headed to Jamil Temple to do a soundcheck before the talent show. Boy, did we have fun!! The soundman (well, woman, lol) was awesome!! It was my good friend Victoria Shirey. ;) The talent show started at 12:00 with some awesome soloists. Everyone of them had a great voice. After the soloists sang, it was time for the groups. We sang 2nd; there were 4 groups. After all the groups and soloists sang, it was time for the judges to cast their votes... And... We won FIRST PLACE!!! :D :D Praise the Lord!!! Our good friend, Tommy Graham, won First Place in the soloist division!!! Congratulations Tommy!! After the talent show ended, we had a quick lunch and then got ready for the showcase stage. Once again, there were some incredibly talented groups that sang!! Providence Qt. won First Place in the group division for the showcase stage and, wow!!! what talent these guys have!! Check out their website at www.providencequartet.com. When the showcase stage ended, we had some McDonalds, then I played the prelude music before the mainstage began on a beautiful Yamaha GRAND PIANO! :D The stage started off with a skit to the song "You Are Worthy." WOW!! I loved that. When the skit was over, The Shireys started off the concert. I accompanied them while they ministered through song. We had church!!! Then BBT got to sing 2 songs on stage. We had so much fun, and met some new friends. It was great!!

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this site from google after Britney added me on myspace. I just wanted to say how great it was to be with you at Jamil Temple, and how great of a sound you have. Keep God first, and never let your head get too big and He will take you places you never dreamed. Keep on singing for HIM!
